How It Works

From booking to flying in four simple steps

1

Book Your Date

Email us with your preferred weekend. We fly Saturdays and Sundays, weather permitting, from early spring through late fall.

2

Show Up at the Field

Come to Lenawee County Airport (KADG) in Adrian. We'll give you a quick safety briefing and introduce you to your pilot.

3

Get Towed Up

A tow plane pulls the glider up to about 3,000 feet. Then the cable releases, the engine noise disappears, and you're gliding in silence.

4

Enjoy the Ride

Take in the views, try the controls if you want, and experience the peace of engineless flight. Then we glide back to land.

Questions?

Is it scary?

Most people find it incredibly peaceful, not scary. There's no turbulence or engine vibration—just smooth, quiet flight. Many first-timers say it's the most relaxed they've ever felt in the air.

What if I get motion sick?

Glider flight is very smooth compared to small engine planes. Most people who get motion sick in cars or boats do fine in gliders. If you're concerned, skip heavy meals beforehand.

Are there weight limits?

For safety, we have a passenger weight limit of approximately 220 lbs. If you're close to this, mention it when booking and we'll make sure we can accommodate you.

What if the weather is bad?

We'll reschedule at no charge. Safety comes first, and we need good flying conditions to give you the best experience.

Can I bring someone to watch?

Absolutely! Friends and family are welcome to hang out at the field. It's actually fun to watch the gliders launch and land.
